How much would you pay for to be in a Koi Club?

How much would you pay for to be in a Koi Club? $40, $50, $60 or let's say $130...What would you say is fair?

That in my mind would greatly depend on how active the club was, and if it was serious enough (WWKC good concept, but not really active, it just needs to be more active). If I saw it was worth it, and had the time to participate, I would join the club. I think I would max out on about $100 dollars to join the club. Joining a club is really priceless, but money at my age does play a factor.
But that is just me.

i'm paying $90 for one of my club & that's w/ a yearly sub to Nichirin.
I'm paying $25 to another club.

Is that good?

I think for what I'm getting from the club itself that's a good deal.

Very tought question as you asked what we think is a good value. And yet, what is not stated is what we "get fer the money". So without know the benefits....hard to say the cost-benefit relationship is in balance.

I would say anyone who keeps koi can afford to pay $50 or more a year in club dues. ....but to how many clubs? If you join ZNA, MAKC, a local club, an Internet club...etc....the dues can add up to $200 or more.

So maybe a followup question is what would you expect in return from the club for those different dues rates.
