Koi Dealers on EBay.....

This is the kind of stuff that I laugh at when there are so many "Backyard" dealers trying to make a buck on some sucker hobbyist....
Stats:
23" Sanke, breeder unknown or not posted "Buy it Now" $1400....
This fish at best is worth $200....People need to watchout Dealers like this on EBay...

The dealer probably bought this fish from some club auction...

Anybody know who that dealer is (edit by mod)They posted some crapagoi on K o I p h e n and I almost fell out of my chair when I saw the prices. If you get ripped off from a wholesaler why not return the koi? Don't try to take advantage of consumers, because although they might not know quality now they will in the future. And, don't for a second think they won't remember the overpriced crap you sold them.

For example this beauty:

Goshiki
Hosokai
64cm (19")
$750

The Shusui's on page 4 of the web site, I think are the best deal going!

Tonio, I think you hit it dead on when you said "club auction fish"!

"Another beautiful koi that we are offering, just look at the maruten spot on its head and that beautiful snow white shiroji. Get this baby before its too late".

That is what the caption said of the Sanke pictured...

I think the caption should have been like this:

"Another awful Sanke we are offering, just look at the weak beni on the fish and forget about the maruten. Shiroji is so clean makes you forget how weak the beni and conformation is"....

The one word that original caption is missing is "Tategoi"....hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah a

I know some dealers that sell their koi on ebay and the prices are fair for some decent koi. So I wouldn't want to blackball everyone who uses this
market....however it just proves that before you buy from a picture you'd better have some wisdom in what your seeing and built a trust relationship with the dealer.
