Koi keeping in Canada is cold work. I finally can see my fish as the ice and snow has melted back off the pond. All accounted for thankfully, its been a bad winter and I know folks who are not as lucky as I.

- How do u maintain such a good body conformation?
- what kind of koi food do u feed her?maybe u can tell me the brand as well
- at last, what 's the recipe?how's the feeding regimen?

Hello Brandon,
I do not have any special feeding for my kois.I have been feeding them Sakai Wheat Germ and Colour for the past 5 months.I feed them 2 weeks Colour,then 4 weeks Wheat Germ and then back again.I feed my kois 5 times a day and 6days a week.

Hi koimann,

thanks a lot for the precious piece of information.I feed my koi whit saki hikari growth and nozomi wheat germ but It's quite hard to achieve a body conformation like your koi.
I believe the food brand play a role in this matter.

Hi Koimann,

I would like to ask u which sakai food u feed ur koi.There are 2 sakai wheat germ in the market.The 1st one is hi-grow wheat germ and the other one is just wheat germ.
