Showa...More Showas

Here are 2 tosai showas around 40cm...Pls feel free to comment and which 1 do you prefer and why.

Both of them look good.....

Nice long body on the left one. Slightly better bone structure on the right one??
I would pick the maruten......because of the beni and impact of the front half (the head & shoulder) sumi.

Nice ones. I'd pick the left one. Reminds me of some Nogami-bred I've seen.

Hi SK,
I like both of them... but the left will be my 1st choice now.Very interesting to see how they gona turn out in the future.Are both these showas considered Kindai showas??

Me too.....Very interesting to see them again in near future. Yes, both of them can be called Kindai Showa.

Hello Michael.
The breeder is Dainichi and she is swimming in a mud pond over there.

According to my expert friends, she is a rare Showa because that body and that beni (pink beni) usually can not mix..........

After 10days in quarrantine,I released this showa into my pond bout 2 weeks ago.Bowled her up yesterday to check and took some pictures.Notice that quite a bit of sumi is emerging from the earlier picture I have posted.The other showa is being kept in a friend's pond.Shes 43cm,will update her in 6 months time again.Hope she will turn out to be a beauty!

excelent sumi placement on the left showa, the maruten is pretty nice also .
i like the left showa better than the right, but both are amazing showa
