While his post was out of place, I'm glad thekoistop bumped this thread up as I missed this great thread before. Very nice.

I have one of the kohakus from Nisei's 2007 555 event as well, and also would like to know if that koi (the "maruten") is an offspring of Yuri, and if it is a sibling of the other fish in this thread. Thanks!

- Wayne, would have a hard time predicting what some of those koi will look like in years to come.

Facinating thread are there likely to be any updates on the Koi's progress?

Did the sell off of the 3's actually occur?

Bob: I think show schedules and Fall harvesting filled the calendar. When I saw Mat at the ZNA SKA Naples show in mid-November, they were still harvesting and he was planning on continuing until at least the second week of December. I'd guess the recent weather has chased them indoors for a while... when not checking equipment for ice and freeze risks. Maybe the idea can come together during the Winter 'slow period'.

Yuri is a topic by herself and it is great to hear that there has been such a succesfull and well deserved spawn . I would like to know more about Yuri as to her parentige , her size , and why 4 males were used .
Regards
Eugene
