What have I done now? Help! A horror story.

Hi All, I just want to thank everyone with your comforting responses. I had posted but accidental deleted my posts.
This is my first list of any kind and am learning as I go.


I used Aquarium pharmaceuticals ammonia test with the eight drops, eight drops, five minutes, results. Please reply?


Everyone appears to be OK other than they are really p----d at me.
Color is back, Finns are white again on most of the koi. On the others their fins are still faintly streaked but their body color is good.
They are starting to follow me around the pool.

QUESTION: When should I put them back in the pond?
Last five days ammonia ppm.
Last two days Nitrite at ppm.
TA at ppm.
Ph 8.5 am 8.9 pm.

I don't want to rush anything but the water in the pond is better than the pool with the koi's.
I am still continually adding the pond water to the pool and vice-versa.
I have added NO chemicals or water changes for five days now.

I have no plans to turn on the UV any time soon because of possible nitrite problems.

Hi Louie, I did salt to .03% when I realized everyone on the bottom of the pond.
I love the looks on everyones faces at the grocery store when I'm on all fours on the ground digging out their supply of salt.

The looks from the clerks crack me up, I tell them I like salt.
