The baby next to the kohaku is a Sakai Gin Rin Showa bought from PanIntercorp at auction.

Me too. I consider a QT every time I begin to consider a koi. Then I spend more then I budget for the koi and there is no money left for QT. I have looked at inflated kid pools, but our problem is space. When I do it will be a QT for isolation and when finished will pack up, due to space restrictions.

Bob . . .

That's what we do: Show tanks (both 6' & 8', depending), (2) 55 gallons barrels for settlement and filtration, J-mat media stored in one of our pond's waterfalls so they're always 'hot' and ready to start up the QT.

Anyway, best of luck with that beautiful koi.
