Midori goi question

Hi All:

I am enjoying my current crop of 10 week old fingerlings, and lo and behold ! I have a baby thats green as metallic grass. It appears to be a shusui ogon cross. I know its a kawari goi because its a striped koi, but is it a midori ?? Thanks for your opinions if any! I'll photograph it when I've got the time.

Are you saying that yours is metallic? Midori are not metallic.

yes, its doitsu gin rin. so its not midori. Thanks, I was curious if they grouped all green koi in the same category. It probably won't retain this traffic light color, if I'm not very lucky it will fade to a muddy olive. I'll be patient and see. Still any green fish is a pretty startling sight. Whoopee!!
