Hi all, Thank you for your kind comments. You are too generous with your compliments on the quality of the kois. If I were a helium filled balloon, I wud be floating around right now. But frankly, my kois are just so-so. I cant bring myself to go any higher up the ladder.

The water has been doing quite well and clarity has improved a bit but I am still not happy bcos it is UV assisted and there is foam. I have yet to install the Febi foam fractioner I got from a friend. When commissioned, I hope the protein/organics will be ridden off and I can do with a little heavier feeding to bulk them up a bit.

PPP, You need to go visit Sakai at least once.

I gotta give it to you. you definitely took amateur photography for our koi to another level. these are great photos. I love the utsuri on the third picture. looks like she is dancing. very nice collection of koi.

Koi are supposed to be viewed from above. These shots show that good koi are attractive from other angles. You may be conscious of issues about each, Hwong, but koi with strong body structure are impressive animals without regard to such concerns.
