Yes I am an idiot!!
I don't deserve my beautiful babies.
I did not have the proper equipment to care for my koi from the start.
I am stupid and ignorant.
There is no look, comment or thought that anyone has given me that I haven't already berated my self with.
With all of that said...

I am committed to do right by my KOI
What I am looking to do now is keep my fish healthy and happy till I get the new pond built.
The new mechanical filter is up and running and is wonderful!!!!! (This is what started it all.)

I have a kio pond no rocks no plants two cinder blocks high above ground with a flagstone cap 5' deep. I really don't want to tear this apart to put in a bottom drain when the whole thing will be demolished soon anyway.The pvc over the edge pipe is working OK for now. There is absolutely nothing in the bottom of the pond. Am I not getting something?

My new pond WILL have all the bells and whistles and a bacci shower I have already checked into that. They are beautiful and it would be so easy to etch a lovely design on the stainless surface. I am an Artist so this will be easy to do!
Please forgive me for torturing my koi.
