I sent Rob an e-mail with all of your questions about this unit, now just sit tight and lets wait for a reply!

Big shower, for big baller with a gigantic pond! Bigger is better right?

Thats what I'm saying, I've never seen a shower like this before with only one tray...

Hi Tony,
The cost for the shower and bh is a little under $10k. It can support a 20K gallon pond according to Rob. I saw the equipment when I went up north.

I would probably put that money into a clarity unit. $10K is still too steep, but I have seen the system at Momotaro in action and I have to say that flow and over flow is the key to this system working well.

Hi All,

To show that Momotaro Koi Farm is really using this unit, I've also attached some pictures.

The reason for not putting it on my website is that I've not installed it on my pond yet. I would really like to see the ability of what the Bakki Shower does before I go ranting and raving (it also would sound too much like a sales pitch without trying it out for myself). I should have it up in a couple of weeks or so and will let everyone know how it performs. Unfortunately, the season is also coming to an end, so the media may not be fully mature by this year.

I will be pushing approximately 36k to 40k of water through the unit as per Momotaro Koi Farm. I know that some of the KBers are using the system and seems like mixed reviews.

To answer some questions:
1. Was is it from Momotaro Koi Farm? YES it was shipped from Japan.
2. Does it require 3 or more trays? NO One unit can accommodate approximately 18k gallon pond.

Hopefully this will answer some of the questions.

Best regards,

Rob Barreras

One unit? sheesh, I bought 3 for my 1000 gallon pond... like they say there is never enough filtration...

Maybe I should get a bigger pump...

Poor guppies maybe I should add more than two in the pond?

(Just Joking)

Wow! that thing IS impressive though and probably a lot quieter than the 3 to 5 tray setup.
Now if I just had that much (10K) to build my pond....
