Koi Certificate

Hi:

Could someone please help? In Thailand, there is a controversy regarding certificates issued by Dainishi for individual koi.

Does Dainishi Koi Farm give out certificates for individual koi?

Does anyone have a certificate that was ACTUALLY generated by Dainishi?(not by dealers). If such certificate existed, could someone please post or send me a scanned image?

Also, does anyone have the phone number of Dainishi Koi Farm? I tried to call using a number listed on their address but it was no good.

Regards,

Bancherd

how do you verify the authenticity of the certificate? or you just take the dealers/breeders words for it? imo, this is more of marketing gimmicks than anything else. it's not like a human child birth system where authority has some level of control. I said some because it's there is counterfeit for anything even green cards, dead certificates,...etc. you got my points.

I think the only thing I can add is "TRUST".

Like Mat McCan says," A High Quality Fish is a High Quality, regardless who breed it"....So in others words it is too the hobbyist to learn what is good and what is bad...

Turst is what we've been doing all along. when we purchase a fish from the local dealers, we just take whatever they told us.

I know there are shady dealers out there but that's another story.

Thank you for the response.

I have also seen certificates from Narita. I am not questioning the authenticity of the certificates, but wondering whether or not the certificates were actually generated by Dainishi.

I have 4 certificates for 4 female tosai showas that I bought earlier this year. Hand given to me from the vice president of Dainichi so it's authentic.

Bancherd, post your certificate, I want to see if it's the same as mine.
