Opinions on new koi please.

I got them not too long ago and I was just wondering if they are decent . The breeder talked me into these ones.

That is what I figured and I'm cool with that. That is all they would ever have the chance to be anyways. My other Koi look alot better than these, but they are all pond grade too I'm sure. I did have one that was a grade A but it died right after I got it.

Is your name really Russell Peters? He is an awesome comedian!

Pilau, where are you from. I was born and raised on Oahu so the name you use is familiar to me.

I would not do business with that breeder again. Someone should NEVER have to talk you into purchasing a koi. Either you like it or you don't. As your time in koi keeping increases you will learn what makes a high class koi.

Agree with MCA. Big difference between answering questions and explaining things, compared to a hard sell approach.

BTW, of the three, the only one worth watching is the Ochiba. If it cleans up and keeps the rust-brown pattern, it could be the queen of your pond.

I just hope he didn't talk you into paying a hefty price for them. We're in the process of culling the remains of our backyard spawn (amateurish at best) and the only one of these three that would have made it is the middle one. It looks interesting enough to at least learn from.
