Yes, a pic borrowed from Keirin Koi's site some time ago... from Hosokai.
Kind of like a doitsu kohaku???... Well, how about a doitsu goshiki? ...I think Kosui is a curious marketing label. The genetic base is the same as what is called Goshiki when the parents are fully scaled. There are many 'lines' of Goshiki today. Some from the old crosses of 50+ years ago, and some from re-makes of more contemporary lines of Asagi and Kohaku. It suddenly becomes Kosui when Shusui is a parent rather than Asagi. Shusui are no longer merely doitsu Asagi, due to having been bred for characteristics unique to Shusui and disliked in Asagi, such as Hi above the lateral line. I can go along with the giving of a different name as a result, but the relationship with Goshiki is close enough that I'd not argue with a Doitsu Goshiki label. Query: Since Asagi and Shusui are judged together for shows, should Goshiki from Kohaku x Asagi be judged with Kosui from Shusui x Kohaku? Why not?
