It looks like an automatic tosai feeder.

you program the amount to be fed and frequency and it does the rest. the automatic part comes in with the koi....you provide the food and they automatically make it disappear...each and every time you feed em! magical

What is a showa sucker?

Tony, it looks to me like an upflow type of filtration. I see an open ball valve leading into the bottom of the black tub. Or it could be a winter housing tank of some sort. Kinda small for a housing tank, tho. What is it? What is it?
