15th Annual Texas Koi Fancy GoldFish Show - Oct. 13-14

15th ANNUAL TEXAS KOI & FANCY GOLDFISH SHOW
October 13-14, 2007 just east of San Antonio, Texas
Show location is at Water Garden Gems (210/659-5841) just east of San Antonio on IH 10, between exits 593 & 595. The show and educational seminars are free and open to the public. Hours are 9 am to 5 pm Saturday & 10 am to 3 pm Sunday. The Koi & Goldfish shows, and vendor/exhibition areas will be covered. We are sold out of fish vendor space but can still accommodate some non-fish vendors at this time.
Visit with vendors from across the country selling locally bred koi & goldfish Plus lots of other pond & water gardening products, and non-pond items. This show competition is for hobbyists only. Goldfish will be shown in 20-gallon aquariums and entry fees are $5 per fish. Koi and long fin koi will be shown English style. (Separate show tanks for each owner) Show tanks are limited and reservations/payment are required in advance and before October 5, 2007. Fee for 6 foot koi tanks is $75 and 8 foot koi tanks are $100. SHOW HOTEL: We have chosen the historic Menger Hotel, 204 Alamo Plaza, in downtown San Antonio located right next to the famous Alamo and across the street from the River Walk as our show hotel. A limited number of rooms at a special show rate of $130 + tax single/double is available for show attendees. Phone 1-800-345-9285 and ask for reservations dept. Please specify you are with the Texas Koi and Fancy Goldfish show to obtain the special rate which expires Sept 12th. Hotel valet parking is $25 per day. There are numerous public parking lots close to the hotel for $5 to $18 per day.
SHOW BANQUET: 7:00 pm Historic Menger Hotel, 204 Alamo Plaza, in downtown San Antonio Prepaid reservations are required. Cost is $50 per person

One of our club members, Bill Toohey, donated this 40cf O2 tank with custom paint job to be used as a loaner to club members showing koi at our show but do not have O2 available to transport their koi.
