Mike , I was told that this was Mats #1 Kujaku last year . From what I understand , she could only be bought if the owner left her for growing out .

She seems to be between the two you posted in development ?

I'd say that one had the best traits of the two I posted without their worse points. The shine on the head is very nice. The darkening of the scales has my attention... I have no understanding of how good matsuba appears and develops. I've never kept a matsuba koi and usually am not interested in them.

This one is not listed for sale, so I guess it was sold and is staying in NJ? If so, maybe we'll see her in October.

There was a magoi-blood Sanke last October that I hope stayed another year. I would really like to see her again.

The other Kujaku I posted (#11) belongs to a friend of mine .

I'll like to see this one . Interesting head pattern that mite look even better on a larger koi .

The first three Sanke you posted- the first two have a head pattern that seems to draw your attention- much like the Sanke you already won. The pattern makes the head appear long.

Yes Mike , your right . Whats your thought of a pond with nothing but 4-step Kohakus & Sankes with the Beni that runs down to the nose ?


I liked the third one best , the white looks great .
