Throw-in fish

What do you think of this? It was kinda a throw-in (Free) from the Dealer after I bought a few...
I thought well at least it is interesting looking it is about 7" and from Igarashi (Sen'nin) Koi Farm I just wonder how it will turn out later... do you think it's a male?

Sorry, I do not like it even as a throw in.

I know it has a lot of sumi in the back half and no hi there too but I guess I'll keep it for a while to see how it will change.

should throw it back since it cost you to raise the fish. serious, if you like the way it's look, then keep it.

I had the same thing happened to me one time. the guy threw it in. I threw it out. he threw in again and I threw it back out again. he then insisted that I take it home so I did. it was around 5 inches in july 2006 and now it's 11 inches now. what do think? look like goshiki, right?

Steve

Steve,

I think your fish got better looking than from when you first got it.

I figure well what the heck I'll keep it a while and see what happens to everything.
I didn't like it at first but it kinda grew on me... but if things get too crowded then it's one to go on to a new home.

I think her his/her fish is a really nice looking fish. I wouldnt "buy" it, but If it was a gift, I would graciously accept.

Kind of a damn shame this koi is from Igarashi Kazuto(Know for pricey fish, but very high quality)...To be honest with you, this fish has no future...sorry to be blunt, but that is the way I feel...But if you saw some of the fish this breeder breds (not a good representation) you will think twice to get that fish as a throw in...

I agree with Antonio, this Koi has absolutley no future as far as being a quality Koi. I do not believe it is from Igarashi Kazuto though. Could the dealer be telling stretching it?

I don't think I'd be too happy if a "dealer" tried to foist a cull off on me and told me it was ok because it was "free." It's not free if it's taking up valuable space in my pond...I wouldn't have taken that koi home with me.
