in time, they will follow your foot steps with mouth open wide. by that time, you will have tough time resist the temptation of throwing a few more pellets to feed them even they've already ate a bunch.

anyhow, to answer your question. this is quite normal.

I had a tosai that took almost 3 months to join in with the rest when feeding.

thanks, that helps....by the way, our pond is below ground....and there's also alot of different noises like traffic, ect....thanks though...I hope they'll come around....
