Any fish breeders like comment ???

Would anyone like to comment on this nutritional information as a possible fry food suppliment. I have not used this product before - its egg white powder.

Great amino acid profile. The traditional fry supplement is crushed boiled egg yolk. The yolk has all the fat and a higher mineral content than the whites. I'm an advocate of low-fat diets, but egg white could take it too far. But then again, if you are supplementing green water with natural forage it probably doesn't matter. What's the particle size?

The same company sells yolk only with protien at 47% and fat at 43% plus 2% carbs!

I have not yet seen the powder to see on size & nil is reported on the company website.

Sounds like a blend of the two might be a pretty good supplement. I'm only making an assumption, but since they barely have a digestive tract the extra fats may be needed early on to accelerate their energy level.
The egg whites would definitely make for a protein boost in a growth recipe for the first 6 months through the fingerling stage...
