Ok so I spent the day at Koi America again today. This time I broke out the camera. But before that...I just wanted to wish everyone there and especially all the folks I talked to on Friday and today a safe trip home and thanks for being there I know I enjoyed your company
. I'd list all your names but there were way too many of you! Although I do need to thank Bill and Shawn for letting me keep all my boxes and various stuff over at the Mystic Koi booth all weekend so I didn't have to lug it around in my car.
Ok so the first two pics are my tank. The shiro took best size 3, the asagi took 1st size 4 gin rin b, the bigger showa took a 3rd size 3 showa and the little showa benched at 12.5 inches turning it into a very very small size 3 and obviously it could not compete. The kohaku is a male and only 18.5 inches so it didn't stand a chance either as I think there were 10 size 4 kohakus? It especially didn't stand a chance against Steve Childers "size 4" kohaku hahahaha
. The third pic is a little 9" showa I picked up from Quality Koi on friday. I really wanted something in size 2 and although its a very small size 2 it still managed 1st for size 2 showa. I gave the that showa and the ribbon to my son and he is pretty stoked about it. Pic four is the GC. Pic 5 and 6 are some random koi I liked. Pic 7...for those of you that were looking for JR it appears I found him. On a side note: JR, I told you that Matsuda net would fit in my Suburban. I had at least 4 inches to spare
