is manda fu as good as wheat germ for fall/winter

I been feeding wheat germ during the cold months at least untell its too cold and I've seen manda fu and was wondering if its better or what? I haven't been able to find alot about Manda fu, would like your thoughts and experiences with Manda fu koi food.

I love it. I feed it as a treat during the winter months while the fish are inside. They love it as well. I don't think I would feed it as a winter staple although I have not tried that yet so I don't know what might happen with the whites if did. Might be interesting to see though. Basically this is a gluten based food (I believe) with some fruits and veggies added. Please correct me if I'm off base on this one. It's been a long time since I really looked it up.

I've also discovered that it is a good food to offer a fish that has gone off it's food and not feeling well. They seem to really like it.
