OK, so I am a little late chiming in. Like Ray said, the Vegas show was one of the most enjoyable events I have attended and I was honored to be the head judge with 2 such capable team members in Ray and Henry. We stayed in synce on every decision (which is rare

).
Now, to clear the air....Cheryl could have come, she was NOT left behind. SHE made the decision not to come along since I was not returning directly from Vegas but had business meetings (and a charity golf tourney) to attend in Denver. That would have meant taking 2 cars to Indy to catch the plane (since she did not want to go to Denver and sit around doing nothing their). Plus, with a 17 year old son at home she thought it wise not to leave him without a vehicle.
My only regret is that I didn't find a box for my Judge's gift, a HUGE engraved Martini glass. Southwest must not have liked it as well as I did, even though it was thoroughly wrapped up. More pieces than I could count when I arrived in Denver Sunday night.
The Koi show was so much fun that I didn't even realize until I got home that I didn't even put a quarter into a slot, let alone play any blackjack. Great show, great people!

Oh, and if Kari calls me "Mr. Childers" again, I am going to...........well, going to do something.
