In the grow out ponds yes. There is nothing but red clay. Just want to see how they turn out and then post them next summer as they grow.

What has the pattern of a koi got to do with a parent koi?

On oyagoi, it's bout the quality. The quality of the beni, shiroji and the conformation. These are some of the main factors that breeders look for when selecting oyagoi.
