I'd be interested in thoughts on Sanke #8. It has more yellowish tones on head and pecs, a more slender body than some... at least from the photo angle... but has the body frame I otherwise like. Gives an impression of being male, except the Hi does not come across as I would expect in a male. Who knows with a photo?? Besides, I did not think males were in this group??

Interesting fish.

PS... do not confuse with Showa #8, etc.

Nice fish. Kohak #7 is very nice, strong conformation, thick tail joint and nice long broad head. Put me down for up to $4000, then again we have to love when they start throwing 4 fingers up at the auction.

Very nice Kohakus. I'll take #4 or 7 I think. There was one very nice Showa. Does anyone know the price range? I'll bet it's scary.

Opening bid is usually $1000....so from there, nice pattern, alot of Asian Dealers usually means that fish is going to be pushed to more than $12K...
