Way up above Koguriyama
Whilst out driving today I passed through Koguriyama, home to Shinoda, Horoi (Yozaimon) and others, and kept driving and driving, up and up.


As you rise up the views are spectacular, the roads narrow and windy. It did concern me a little when passing another vehicle with a vertical drop to my left, the lady driver put her hands together in a prayer position!!!

The sat nav had a 'peak' symbol and when i got to that there were various signs and monuments suggesting it was perhaps the highest peak around.
