None of them stands out to me but the shusui.

I think I would buy that one based on the perfect zipper and the pale blue color. I may be missing something but that one jumps out.

Edit - Although, I will say that I find it difficult to believe that fish is more than 6 inches long.

Photo #4, ginrin showa,... not bad, nice white, nice shape, if the sumi comes up in the right places...

If these were all I had to choose from then #4 would be my pick.

I've never been keen on ginrin but I'm a sucker for showa

Kind Regards,
Terri

I agree about the shusui although it looks awfully thin for a 11" koi. I am not nuts about the rest of them. I don't think their patterns are very good. Keep in mind that koi are not necessarly worth more just because they are imports.

Probably the GinRin Showa is the best of the batch. Well it is the best fish in the batch, Shusui is so-so. Shusui like that are a dime a dozen in tosai bins as well as the rest.

What are the prices of these fish?

When the dealer claimed they are from Japan you should have asked him which breeder. ROC...It's kinda late in the season to be buying tosai, so these are probably left overs.
