The fish are great, but the last photo is my favorite. All the years it has taken to get them to this point, and the man now can see what his work is accomplishing. What a beautiful moment to capture, Mark.

They are the crew from Nishikigoi.TV - Online Video Koi Magazine ;-)

Seriously, they were from local TV station.

while i appreciated this man's work with showa

did you check out the depth of the grow pond. No wonder they have the builds on them that they have. I would imagine putting that much water
out thru a drainage system could flood an average town here in the states!

Thank you Mark for sharing the pixs. Dick, you are right, the grow pond is more like a lake than a pond. Heck, I can probably go water skiing in it when it's full. It's images like these that make me want to put my head down and plow harder just so I can afford a big pond with excellent filtration system so I can grow koi half the size of Isa-san's showa. Wow!!!!!
