New Kohaku

OK, the pic is lousy, it came out washed out looking and I touched it up a hair, seems like the head came out darker then it actually is. So apology's for the bad pic. It was getting dark out and I I don't have a bowl large enough at the moment, so a quickie pic from the stock tank it is...

No having a heart attack here now..

So I took a step in another direction, my first SF as well as Kohaku....

Was wondering if you could get a straight shot of the conformation of the fish, especially the head.

Don,

Around 11", one year old and Richard Rombold. I got s/he through Steve (Birdman) a few weeks back on a trip we made over to his place so he could go over the pond rebuild plans with the DH and show him some whats & why's. Steve had got some in from him and I sure wanted to see them with my own eye's as I liked what I saw in pics here. Just didn't expect to be bringing one home....

My first instinct (gut feeling) is female, and we did check and also say's female, but this one is still pretty young so I think recheck down the road and watch, wait and see.. This is, a learning experience all the way!

Aquitori I wanted to, but I don't have a bowl big enough to handle her (on my wish list) and I don't think my grey tub would make a suitable background.. maybe I can use some black liner piece to offset. Would be a couple of weeks before I can do so though, we are going on vacation as of Thursday and won't be home over the next week though.

Mike M I'm no expert.. I do think the g/r is really nice also though. My first impression was it reminds me of cracked Ice.... Going with my gut instinct of female, I have named her Ice Queen though that could change..

Kathy . . .

Knowing how well you take care of your fish, Ice Queen should bring you many, many years of enjoyment. Congrats!
