Momotaro Auction

Guys... Momotaro is back into the auction game. Selection is limited compared to the massive operation of Hiroshima Sakai.

2 of my favourite from this round are showa #3 and #13.

dechoong . . .

FYI, Rob got us started on those fish last week.

Here's the link to that thread (just so no one has to repeat anything they've already said).

Oh, can't look at those too often.

P.S., I'm still hooked on Sanke #8.

Yes, I agree that sanke #8 and #18 are both beautiful koi. But how about Showa #13?! Wow! You guys know what I will be dreaming about tonight. I can't seem to save fast enough for my dream pond!!!!! But then again, even with a dream pond I still can't afford one of these awesome koi to put in my pond.......

Do you folks think the tail joint of the showa #3 is kind of weak or just due to the pix angle?

Showa number #9 has the strongest conformation and thickest Outzu of them all. The swim manner of the Showa is strong and the whipping motion of the tail is very minor to show that this fish doens't have to waste much motion to swim. Showa #9 for conformation, skin quality is even amongst the rest and pattern is to each is his own. Study the video and watch the Showas swim.
