They are all Nisai in the 14" - 16" range. Cody, I am sorry to say the second to the last one is gone as well.

Sight Seeing

Today was the day we drove from Niigata to Isawa. What a great way to travel. We would have had to have taken three seperate trains with all of our luggage.

We drove along for about an hour and then I started to see water out of the right side of the car. I soon realized it was the Sea of Japan. We found a small fishing village and decided to stop.

Earthquake

We found this bent gutter grate that shows the power of the earthquake that hit the area a few fears ago.

Special Sanke

This is a Sanke that Mr. Sakai spoke very highly of. It has the soft skin and beni that is elastic. He says the skin on this Koi will be more outstanding in two years. He considers it Tategoi. It is 50cm-55cm.

Showa

This showa is 45cm-50cm. Mr. Sakai considers this to be Tategoi as well as it has the same skin qualities as the Sanke.

It is Amazing!

It really is amazing to walk around the concrete ponds at INC. When you look in them the Koi look very ordinary as in the first picture. It is almost impossible to imagine that the Koi are the quality you see in the next few pictures.
