Change of pattern after 3 years

I just took some picture of my pond today and, looking pictures of previous years, I was surprised to see the changement of pattern of my goshiki male.
Don't take care about the brightness of the colours (not same angle, flash somethimes, different camera..), sorry for the poor quality of some of them, but I just wanted to share with you.

Marco

do you ever keep you koi inside?

what are your water parameters like? ( pH, KH etc)

how many fish do you stock per ton?

Thanks in advance for answering my questions , JR

Jr, my pH is always between 7.5 and 8, no nitrate, no nitrite and no ammonia. My water is soft, so I put some oyster shell in one of my filter's chamber.
12 cubic meter pond, 5 koi between 52 and 56 cm and 5 between 35 and 44 cm.
I wish I could organize and decent insidepond for wintering, but I don't find time to fix it (maybe next year). So I cover my pond with polycarbonate and heat the pond during winter.

Hi Dick, I agree, nice body shape for a male, and still improving, even if the last picture doesn't advantage him, In reality, the skin quality is realy nice.

Just another one for you Dick, not really a champion but a male too and one of my first koi

Thank-you Marco for the shots of your asagi

I thought that maybe your GH is a little hard from the looks of the asagi. It's always a difficult path to find hard enough water for gosanke yet soft enough
for color varieties like asagi, shusui, kikusui, midori. I was surprised to see how well the red has behaved itself. I would have suspected from the earlier shot of the Asagi to have much more red over running it by now! Glad to see you back posting
