aquitori .. Kohaku Pics

Here you go Aquitori!

I tried anyway... This one has a good nature as far as handling, but wanted to swim around and eyeball me which doesn't help for photo sessions at all.

The GinRin looks pretty good on the Kohaku, it's nice and uniform. The body and fins tells me it is male. The beni is kinda questionable but I feel it should hold.

Thank You Aquitori! This is very helpful in learning..

I think it will hold also, and probably deepen up some, there is some darker Beni color in scale centers, but the Gin Rin seems to overwhelm that - (and cause sparkles in the pics as well ). I do like the G/R myself.

I'd like to get another Kohaku, minus the G/R, after pond rebuild this next summer. So in the spirit of learning, now that I have a Kohaku (and some pics) in hand for comparing and learning hands on, what points should I look for or avoid?

Here's a good thread with alot of input.

Since everyone is talking about Kohak, what do you look for when buying?
