we are on bed rock I didn't notice anything had happened untill it was on the news, only one thing fell in our house in the Loma Prietia in 89. I hope everyone else is ok

On the news it sounds like it was right in the center of all of the koi stores in San Jose. I really hope nothing is wrong

bldg 21 was rocking really hard. I ran out as soon as it stopped.

First there was a slightly loud bang, then the shaking and swaying started. Felt like it lasted a good 20 seconds. After I checked to make sure we were all okay, I took a run out to the ponds. Water still sloshing around three or four minutes afterwards.

Don't think the fish know something is up? Five minutes before, I took one of the dogs out for some relief. Fish were all swimming and behaving normally. When I went out after the shaking stopped, all the fish were huddled in the deep end by the bottom drain, very skittish. Last night, the dogs wouldn't go to their room to go to bed. The stayed in one corner of the kitchen and didn't want to move. My daughter's fiance's dog wouldn't eat, sleep or anything else dogs normally do!? I didn't think they could sense this type of event that far in advance!?

From the reports from folks around here, I'm glad everyone's okay. Now, go check those ponds!!!
