Has anyone actually met and gotten married over koi?

no but I know more than a few who have gotten divorced over koi! $$$$$$$$$$$$ JR

Reason I ask is my friends met through koi, feel in love through koi and now are married through koi. Kinda makes for a corny Adam Sandler romantic comedy.

To make a very long story short, I can say yes! (Kinda) I would have never have ended up in Japan and met my wonderful wife if it weren't for my interest in koi and pursuit of the language from adolescence. Does my wife like koi? Barely, but they are what got me here, so I have much to thank koi for!
