Hahahahahaha, stop it now.

Seeing pics like this reminds me I'm a fool. But more so just having fun, always glad to see koi friends and being ninja ready for sneaky candid shots.

I can't stop laughing........

How about these Ninja masters challenging me. Must have something to do with the Japanese koi energy surrounding us that makes a few act this way?

Grand Champion Vid

I have to confess this my fav tank. never got enough watching them swimming in circle. I almost got dizzy if they didn't reverse the direction.

took me hours to put the short clips together but worth the time since it's two top prizes. will post the raw data for the remaining clips.

FAbulous fish, fabulous trophies and awards, too!

Please, would someone send Mr. Bryan Bateman of Chicago, a few of the photos of this clubs trophies and awards...so that he can see what true koi (show) trophies and awards - should look like!

...and, Ms. Cindy - (whatever her last name is) from the Louisville Koi and Goldfish Society these same photos as she obviously has no clue as to what a koi (show) trophy or an award should look like...

Incidentally, I along with several dozen hobbyists attended Ray Abell's pond pull this past week end and I am honoured to report that the fish coming out were fabulous.

And, how I now wish that the West Coast was easier for those of us on the Eastern borders of the US to facilitate a competition of our koi with those shown on this thread and others on the West Coast of the USA -

Wow, what a terrific koi show we would have...together!

We are considering that perhaps this year, we will take a few of our own fish out West for a koi show?

We were thinking perhaps that Portland - would be fun? There are lots of wonderful koi hobbyists' in Portland...who are encouraging our coming out west.

All the best,

Lee

I thought it was up to each individual show to choose what they wanted to give as prizes if any............

Personally I like the different styles which many clubs have come up with, makes life a bit more interesting.

I think most folks know what are awarded in Japan and choose to "set" them selves apart from that to reflect there own club and diversities there in.

Saying that, this club choose to follow a more traditional style like a few other shows such as Denver do.

But instead in open forum you chose lashing out at others who choose to be different! Why?

Why don't you use a bit more tact and your computer and e-mail these fine folks for your self!
