Thank you

Thank you to all that helped and contributed to make this event what it was. To the entrants, the koi show team, tireless members and volunteers, the judges, the vendors, sponsors and private donors, the San Francisco Bay Area Koi Club and Camellia Koi Club, and everyone who came in person and/or internet and showed support; thank you!!!

Dan thank you for selflessly volunteering yourself to do the pictures and updating everyone with the events as they unfolded. Looking at these pictures everyone had a good time and some good learnings. In my humble opinion that's what qualifies the event as successful and priceless.

Again, thank you again to everyone who made this event possible and my apologies in advance if I missed anyone.

I forgot to jog down who owns this tank but here are the five cheerleaders doing their thing. Any idea who is the owner?

Thank You!

I would like to thank all the members of the Nor-Cal ZNA, Camillia Club, and San Francisco Club who helped make our first show a success!!

To all the vendors who supported our club, and those who helped with set up and tear down. A special thanks to Rick Blazo and Brian from Champion who worked tirelessly throughout the weekend. (Brian had double duty benching, and manning the Champion Nishikigoi booth.)

Talk about fierce competition!! I want to congratulate all the winners and hope all the babies made it home safely. Rumor has it we had the best of the best come out from the west coast. (East vs West show in the future?)

To Erwin, you did an awesome job as show chair. Rumor has it you are already groaning about next years show. (Just kidding! )

I would like to thank the artist vendors for coming out and displaying their beautiful art at the show. I would also like to thank Cody Turtle for the beautiful piece that was presented to Erwin for his show chair efforts, and Mr. Chesney for donating the beautiful bronze plate to the club for the banquest auction. If anyone has any pictures, please post.

Thank you again EVERYONE!!

more videos

Tank 1 belonged to Roger Spradlin. The shiro utsuri won best in size 7, beating out a bunch of very high end gosanke. This shiro has incredible shiroji and a great body. It's one of the best shiros that I've ever seen, right up there with AuntieSue's.

I've got two videos. The first one is from Friday after it first came in and the second is from Saturday.
