Can they bring some fish for the ZNA Socal Show. That would really be nice if Lee from Cayman joined the show here In Socal. I heard that he has some nice collection.

Incidentally, I along with several dozen hobbyists attended Ray Abell's pond pull this past week end and I am honoured to report that the fish coming out were fabulous.

And, how I now wish that the West Coast was easier for those of us on the Eastern borders of the US to facilitate a competition of our koi with those shown on this thread and others on the West Coast of the USA -

Wow, what a terrific koi show we would have...together!

We are considering that perhaps this year, we will take a few of our own fish out West for a koi show?

We were thinking perhaps that Portland - would be fun? There are lots of wonderful koi hobbyists' in Portland...who are encouraging our coming out west.

All the best,

Lee,
Can you please join the ZNA Socal show. Would love to meet some new face from the east coast.

Hi Tom,

That was Michael's tank. It's post #135 on page 14 of this thread - http://www.koi-bito.com/forum/93344-post135.html

I've added a second video to that post now that I know you're interested.

Nancy, I don't have a pond. I move two years ago and I've been pondless since. Luckily we have a couple of great dealers in the area, so a koi fix is only an hour away.

Tonio, I don't think so. Isn't there something in the by-laws about having a pond?

Dan I did not know you had moved and had not built a new pond in your new home. I would still enjoy seeing your old pond pics before the move.. I am amazed at your dedication to the hobby, you truely are Koi Kichi, Kudos to you.

Thanks Nancy. Somewhat dedicated to the hobby but more dedicated to ZNA NorCal and it's members. Can't be in the hobby too long without a pond but friendships will endure. Like they say, friendship thru scales.
