| Scopes II Not sure why, but this is the first chance I have had to update the information, and see that the first posting has been closed. Sorry for the delay on the scopes. I have been tied up in DC on a project, and am still there. Also have had a bad time getting internet connections without having to pay 20 bucks a day for service. Sorry, but its not worth 20 bucks a day. Even with wireless, and having “free internet” is no help when you cant hook in. The first group of scopes seems to be checking out OK per my wife, who has check out about 10 of them so far. Each one has to have the bulb replaced, which we have done, and they work fine. These are single ocular scopes, been used in a college setting, so they are not toys. Each one has two optics, low and high power. They do not have oil emersion optics, but for the vast majority of ponders, these are all you would need. Photo is below. I am going to use one of these for doing pond side diagnosis, as it is much lighter than the scope I am currently using. Each scope will ship with a box of slides, cover slips and a box of lens cloths. Each one will also have a new bulb in the scope, and will have been tested. The cost I think will be somewhere from 75-84 bucks a scope, plus shipping to where ever you are. The shipping will be actual costs, not inflated “shipping and handling”. Later on closer to thanksgiving I will have had a chance to check out the other scopes as well. I know I will have at least 10 binocular ones that are in good shape, and 4 misc scopes that have various attachments that I will have to test out. Will know more later and post on them. I will post more as soon as I get back. d |
