Bababooi, Excellent report and you certainly covered some ground. But please, South African wine over 'real' California Chardonnay?? It causes me to question the entire report regarding it's veracity?! LOls JR

It was nice to read an adventure from a Koikichi from another part of the world. To say thank-you, doesn't seem enough for all the time and effort to journal your experiences and to allow us to come along. Sorry, we're all hung up on pictures! Was nice to see that my friend kentaro is looking well.

1 - Gin Hi Utsuri (Shinoda - 50cm)
2 (a) - Shiro Utsuri (Kaneko - 40cm)
2 (b) - Kujaku (Kaneko - 40cm)
3 - Showa (Nishkigoi Nigata Direct - 46cm)
4 - 2 x Shusui's (61cm & 65cm)
5 - Gin Kohaku (Narita - 65cm)
(Poor photo but great Koi. Left in Japan to grow on)
6 (a) - Gin Kohaku (Yagenji - 40cm)
6 (b) - Kikusui (Yagenji - 40cm)
6 (c) - Gin Kohaku (Yagenji - 40cm)
7 - Showa / Sanke (Dainichi - 46cm)
(The debate about this koi is in a seperate thread so please not here)
8 - Box of 30 Kujaku babies from Kaneko (+- 12cm)
