I really enjoyed reading your post. It takes more discipline than I have to write a journal dialy in Japan. THere always seems to be someplace to go and something to do. Are you a koi hobbyist or a dealer? I am planning to visit S. Africa and your national show in Johannasburg for the 1st time in May. If you will be there please introduce yourself to me.

I am a hobbyist and private seller. I have 3 ponds. One of 30 tons. One of 12 tons and one of 8 tons. The Kujaku babies are small and I plan to have only the best 10 left by the time they reach 12 - 18 months.

I will be highly likely be exibiting in Johannesburg and would welcome you to our beautiful country. It is likely that the Cape Town show will be held the weekend after the JHB show. With Cape Town being the most beautifull city in SA, you could easily stay an extra week, come to Cape Town and fit in a second show on your trip.
