Anyone familar with the breeder "Oishi"?

Anyone familar with the breeder "Oishi"?

One of my dealers has come back from Southern Japan with some nice fish from Oishi. Thought I might gamble on one certificate fish.

I haven't heard of the breeder, but I said 'oishi' many times while in Japan... it means delicious.

Not sure which Oishi this is, but if he's Oishi Washi you might think twice.

My dealer has stock some quality tosai and nisai from Oishi's Oct 06 auction. I would say their kohaku are pretty impressive... fast growing and holds conformation well. Beni has depth and elasticity. However, I've got to point out that their kohaku aren't as big as Hiroshima Sakai at the same age from the farm (nisai average 45cm), but their growth catches up when kept at my dealer's pond.

Oishi has been setting their goal to produce "pretty & very nice looking kois" so that their priority is pattern.
