I see now why many experienced keepers will try to keep fish in one pond that are about the same size/age. Not only competition for food is more equal, but what you feed is very much a consideration. I have two ponds which I had planned on using one keeping softer water and the other a bit harder to finish the fish. Maybe I should consider something different? One for smaller fish to grown on and another for the larger girls? Both with softer water? Or do I need a third....LOL

You definitely need a third; maybe a fourth.

EA One?

Dick, I was trying to get more information on the food you mentioned (EA One), but cannot find an ingrediant list, analysis or protein level mentioned anywhere. Is it on the packaging? Could you share that with us if you hve that please?
