Read on another board that Ogawa Koi Farm is closing down this month?

Can anyone verify this? Would anyone know why?

If true, it's a profound loss -- since Ogawa Koi Farm and Masayoshi Nakayama, Director, have been at or near the top of the koi hobby for many, many decades.

Frivality aside, this is a BIG DEAL if it's true. Could part of the info be missing, like, they're closing down - their current facility and opening a new one. Sometimes part of the info can drop into a black hole more for drama/sensationalism than good old fashioned honest journalism!?!?!? I sure hope it's not true.

I was just there a couple days ago
picked up a incredible top class tancho showa that won 1st place at the Nogasai in October.
Did not hear a word about it but I will have my friend in Ojiya find out if their is any truth to this .

I hope its not true.
Someone should fax them the question. Although, it if were false it would be a huge waste of time for the breeders there.
