Thanks, as it was, 16 of my top 20 ended up taken ahead of me. As kntry said, I too got tired of mincing between two fish. Who knows, the other may still be available when pick #97 comes around. Interesting choice, Mike. Probably like mine your list has been whittled severely for you. What was it about #87 that put it at the top of your list that's left?

Dear Inquiring Marie

Well, as I mentioned before, I lost 14 of my top 20 picks before the third round! This one was around #7 on that list. Reasons? - You want reasons? - hell, I threw a dart at the pics I had on the wall. I missed so badly, it broke through the window and ended up in the shoulder of one of my shiros in the pond - J/K. I like the split odome pattern, what I think will be a clean white shoulder and the fact that it will no doubt(?) develop decent motoguro and some assemblance of menware/hachiware. I also actually think the kugaki pattern will become one thick belt of sumi. If it does, and the other factors mentioned fall in place, AND IT TURNS OUT TO BE FEMALE, it might be a keeper! My first goal in this contest is to actually end up keeping at least one of my two picks.Time will tell if the quality is there and my keeping skills are good enough to bring out the best of what they have to offer.
