I hate to say this but group 3 is not showing any signs of improvement over group two. In fact I'll bet, with #4 bito #5 benigoi and #6 jbolding next up, they may not get more than 3 picks in before the deadline.
I will say this though, at least they're not taking any of the good ones.

I suspect group 2 has set the high water mark. Not to be reached again.

There desn't seem to be a lot of interest in posting picks live even by the most seasoned board members. It was a good idea but it is dead I believe.

I don't know....I think most of the regulars are chomping at the bit to post their picks, but it has to be done in order or they risk losing their choices to someone with an earlier pick (who hasn't posted yet). And remember...some of the people who are in this contest have never posted on bito at all......ever....except to join up. I would not expect them to post their picks, although it would be much more fun for the rest of us if they would. Still..under the rules of the contest, they do not have to post their picks.

You're right, Cindy.

I finally gave up last night and sent my list in. If the others before me post before tomorrow morning, I'll post my pick but I don't think it's going to happen.

The sad part is that the ones that picked fish and will never be back just take a learning experience away from the rest of us.

I agree. I wish the contest had been open only to active board members so we could watch all the fish grow up.

That's what I'm afraid of too. I'm in this for the growout experience and sharing pics and what's being learned over 14 months with everyone else that bought fish from this event. I wonder how many of us actually have cameras to do just that? Easily half of the people getting fish here rarely if ever post much less share pics, and it seems that very few even want to discuss the fish, their theories, their choices, anything. Pity...I was hoping for something more from all participants....

I could be considered guilty of not posting here much. It’s not for lack of interest but my lack of knowledge on the level of most of the people posting here. I’m not saying that the people who post on the Shack have any less knowledge, I’m just comfortable around them. If that makes sense.

I’m planning on posting my reasons for the choosing the fish I did after my last pick is confirmed tomorrow. As for giving reasons why I didn’t pick certain fish, I don’t plan on doing that because of my lack of knowledge and I don’t want to offend anyone.

I do have a camera and will post pics and updates on measurements.

I'll do the same Sandy. I'll even post updates on the tancho I selected, if anyone is interesting in watching that one grow up.
