Omosako thought you all might enjoy this from his website. Its mostly in Japanese but click the photos to see progression shots of some of his koi at age 1,2,3 and in some cases 4 years old.

WOW Jim, excellent link, this can give people a better understanding of development.. can't wait to see what Omosako sends to Mystic Koi, for all of us.

Great link. If that doesn't pound home the massive change they can go through, my skull is WAAAAAAY too thick.

Count me in Bill,
Looks like I need to get a sleeping bag and camp out for a spot.
Seems there's going to be more buyers than koi.

I'll have to sleep at my buddy Michael's/He is closer to Mystic than I.

Hi Tom,

No need for camping out . You can get up to 3. Just say the word and I'll put you on the list and you'll get a turn to pick. Picking order will be randomly drawn so its fair to everyone.

That illustration of the progression of development makes me think that it may not be such a huge advantage to be first pick. There is probably just a good chance of getting a future winner by picking the ones who jump into the net. It makes for much more of an adventure!!
