Oops, I was late. I have no confidence for koi hunting though the internet but it sounds like a lot of fun, so please count me in for 2 dreams. (^_^)/

Omosako has bred 6 differant Oyagoi this year for shiro -utsuri. Oyagoi are Musahi, Hakuma,Panda, Hakuba, etc. Do we know and can we find out which parents are for the new coming Tosai ? Babies of each parent have a slightly differant way in which they develope . Might as well try to go all the way and get as much of an education as possible.

Good question, Louie, and I'd love to see the oyagoi of the shiros we're getting. It will give us a good idea of the genetics behind them.

I've gotten live fish, clearly marked as such, through Fed Ex, but not for home delivery. I had to pick them up at a Fed Ex center right near the airport.

Wow! Maybe we should have a 4 year growout contest instead of just 1....

I think 2 ways of looking at it is your getting a good deal on an Omosako Shiro and a chance to study this breeders fish.

I like the Musashi parent set, nice sanke/kohaku bodyline.
