[quote=Ronin-Koi;99469]Hey, I like seeing other people's thoughts, especially after the picks are made so as not to bum folks out that are still picking. I didn't see your comments on Round 1 picks. Care to share your thoughts there? None of the koi selected seem to be very high on your list, so curious which ones you went for and what criteria you used. Will look for your picks when the time comes.

- Wayne that's the one luxury I have, I get to watch and comment thru 102 picks, before I have to choose. By then everyone will be bored with it and clamoring for us bottom feeders to finish, so they can get their fish shipped.

Here's what I think of your #9 fish at pick 5. I Rated it as the 68th Best Fish. This is too much sumi on the back half for me. It looks out of balance. I don’t care for all the sumi on the nose either, although I do think it helps balance the back half. The shiroji is the type I like and if the motoguro tightens up, I maybe eating my words.
Wayne, you have two very different fish it should be fun to see how they turn out.

I just looked to see if they had a finger tapping emoticon.

I'm waiting not so patiently to see if my next pick is going to be picked before I can pick it.

Bob Caruso,

No, no, no you can't do that! #152 was my number one pick and you took it. Now, I have to go through the list again. I believe #152 is a sibling to #150(Jeff Speck's #1 pick). Both have simuliar borne structures and overall appearance. I like the fact that there are more hints of emerged sumi distributed evenly on #150.
I was hoping to contrast my 139b(heavy sumi) with a lighter looking fish to see how they would develope, but you messed that up for me. Now, back to the drawing board to find another fish to replace it. Great pick!

Best Regards,
Sunny
