They are koi. Who are you? What's with the blank for the name?

How did you get those characters as your user name? And where are you?

Hello and Welcome to Koi-Bito.

I'd pass on all three of those koi. Like Mark said, they all have issues.

Folks, his name is in chinese. His name has 4 chinese charatects, Meaning someone who live in/near/next to 'west lake'. THere is a west lake in Hang-Jou, CHina which is a famous tourist attraction. The first 2 characters mean 'west lake'. The last means 'person'. The last 2 combined, means:
1. monk
2. layman in buddishm. But reserved for someone who have learned buddism in depth.
3. hermit, who live a sublimed life.
4. someone with big head, who thinks s/he is above other in someway.

I think he is #3.
You may need to change the page encoding to see his name.

have fun

I'll take all 3.... depending on the price. Rather large for tosai, so I'm guessing they have been grown fast in warm water. Even 'jumbo tosai' out of Japan do not usually get so long until Spring, so I think these must be raised in a warm climate outside Japan. Chinese-bred? If so, I am impressed with the progress of Chinese breeding efforts. Very nice body structures for tosai. Pigment can not be evaluated well in photos, but no horrible flaws for tosai. I rather like the odd face pattern on the second Kohaku. The Sanke is a curious fish. The Sumi seems to be progressing at an earlier age than I would think, perhaps due to being raised in warm, mineral-rich water??

I'd like to know more about them and their parentage.

MikeM . . .

The thread is entitled 'Dainichi Tosai' so I don't think that's the case?
